Overview

Meet Phil Connors. He’s an arrogant big-city TV weatherman, who is sent on an assignment to cover the annual Groundhog Day event in the small town of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, but somehow finds himself caught in a time loop, repeating the same day over and over and over again. Each day plays out like the one before it and he becomes increasingly despondent with each passing day. Does he ever learn the life lessons with each experience? Find out if Phil discovers the secret to break the cycle with tickets to Groundhog Day at ShowTickets.com.

Fans familiar with Groundhog Day may recall the beloved 1993 Columbia Pictures film of the same name, which has been cited by the Writers Guild of America as one of the 101 Greatest Screenplays ever written. Originally written by Danny Rubin and Harold Ramis with Bill Murray in the starring role, the cult classic Groundhog Day is now set to song. Tapping the musical stylings of Tim Minchin, who was the composer and lyricist behind Matilda, Groundhog Day The Musical is a dazzling theatrical masterpiece that can’t be missed during your next New York vacation.
