2019 is just around the corner

Nothing says “New Year’s” like NYC, and there is perhaps no better time of year to indulge in the best of what the city has to offer than at the start of a brand new year. To ring in 2019, we’ve put together a list of our favorite restaurants and given them a fitting Broadway show pairing. We plan to celebrate the New Year with even more love, more Broadway shows and more delicious food than 2018, so be sure to snag tickets and book a reservation for one of our favorite pairings to cheers to 2019!

The Band’s Visit + Zavo Restaurant
1011 3rd Ave., New York, NY 10065
There are a handful of restaurants in the theater district that we love, but it can be refreshing to escape the hustle and bustle of Times Square for a nice dinner before the show. We recently tried Zavo, just east of the theater district, and fell in love with everything from the baked lobster to the mussels to the death-by-chocolate dessert. It’s a hop and a skip from Broadway’s doorstep, so venture here for an early dinner and meander your way to The Band’s Visit for an evening of soul-filled singing and storytelling.

The Cher Show + Charlie Palmer
6 Times Square, New York, NY 10036
Cher and Broadway make a perfect pair, and this show gives fresh life to her music through 3 amazing actresses portraying the Diva Goddess. Head to one of our favorite spots before the show for a dazzling dinner to match the lavish costumes at the Neil Simon. We love Charlie Palmer at The Knickerbocker, where you can enjoy a delicious, relaxing meal stories above the chaos of Times Square, but still within walking distance of the theater.

Dear Evan Hansen + The Skylark
200 W 39th St, New York, NY 10018
This show still brings us to tears every time. Try the Skylark before the show for breathtaking views and delicious bites. Then make your way to the Music Box Theatre – and do not forget your tissues.
