The Music Man Revival Announced, Starring Hugh Jackman
Beloved Tony Award winner and Oscar Award nominee Hugh Jackman will return home to Broadway as Harold Hill in the 2020 revival of The Music Man. Produced by Scott Rudin, The Music Man will return to a Shubert stage on September 9, 2020, in advance of an Oct. 22 Opening Night. Jerry Zaks will provide direction, and Warren Carlyle will choreograph.

Jeremy Jordan Returns to Broadway in Waitress
Waitress
has found its new Dr. Pomatter. Jeremy Jordan will return to Broadway as the show’s awkward and charming love interest. Jordan currently stars in CW’s Supergirl, but his stage credits range from his Tony-nominated turn in Newsies to American Son and Bonnie & Clyde. Jordan also starred in the 2014 film adaptation of Jason Robert Brown’s musical, The Last Five Years.

Be More Chill to Release Original Broadway Cast Album
C-c-c-come on! Be More Chill will receive an Original Broadway Cast Recording this season. The cast album will be released physically and digitally, featuring an original score by Joe Iconis and book by Joe Tracz. Be More Chill finds its inspiration from the novel by the late Ned Vizzini of the same name. The Broadway adaptation stars Will Roland (Dear Evan Hansen) in the role of Jeremy, a young high schooler who ingests a pill containing a supercomputer designed to teach him how to finally become “chill” and popular.

Wicked Welcomes Ginna Claire Mason as Broadway’s Next Glinda
On April 9, Ginna Claire Mason will assume the role as Wicked’s bubbly leading witch, Glinda. Mason was most recently seen portraying the role in the show’s National Tour; her other touring credits include Newsies and Flashdance the Musical. Current Glinda Katie Rose Clarke will exit the production at the Gershwin Theatre on April 7.
