Beloved actor of stage and screen Kevin Kline stars in Present Laughter, a story about a narcissistic actor who is visited by a young admirer. Their chat is interrupted by a parade of  characters, including his manager, his ex-wife and an aspiring playwright. Written by Noel Coward, Kline took home the 2017 Tony Award for his work in the play – the third Tony Award of his career. "We don't do this alone,” Kline said, accepting his Tony Award at the ceremony in June, “It's a group effort, and it's a wonderful group that I'm privileged to be working with.”

Bette Midler made her return to Broadway in this year’s revival of Hello, Dolly! And so far, it has been a roaring success. At 71 years old, Midler is adept at reinventing herself. "This is the biggest challenge of my career," she told CBS This Morning. "And I needed a challenge… I'm very grateful for it. And it doesn't matter in what frame of mind I come into the theatre – I know that when I get out there, it's going to be there. And I'm just going to sail – we're going to go on a little journey that's a lovely, little, joyous journey for two-and-a-half hours. And we're gonna have a ball!"

The film made famous by Leonardo DiCaprio and Meryl Streep is coming to Broadway. Roundabout Theatre Company’s Marvin’s Room stars Lili Taylor and Janeane Garofalo in a humorous but heartwrenching play about love and loss. The play first appeared Off-Broadway in 1991, and is now on Broadway for the first time.

And, of course, there’s Ben Platt, the breakout star of Dear Evan Hansen. Platt made his name in the hugely popular film Pitch Perfect. And, in December 2016, he bounded into the title role of Dear Evan Hansen, for which he won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical. Check it out – now’s the time to see Platt on stage, fresh off his win.
