Overview

Tony Award-winning playwright, Terrence McNally brings his uproarious comedy It’s Only a Play to Broadway. Performed for the first time since its Off-Broadway run in 1986, this new production features a star-studded cast including Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick and Emmy and Tony Award winner Stockard Channing. It's Only a Play follows the hilarious interactions that happen after opening night of Peter Austin's (Matthew Broderick) new play. As they wait for the reviews to come at the opening party, the cast and crew including a television star, played by Martin Short now through March 29, the producer (Katie Finneran), the female lead (Stockard Channing), the critic (F. Murray Abraham), the director (Maulik Pancholy) and the coat check attendant (Micah Stock) start to gossip. ShowTickets.com has tickets to this must-see engagement at New York’s Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

Nathan Lane returns to the starring role as James Wicker on March 31.
