To celebrate International Women’s Day, Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) guest conductor Nancy Menk will take to the stage at Carnegie Hall to lead an orchestra and all-female choir in various choral works for women’s voices. The concert is scheduled for Sunday, March 17, for what will be a glorious afternoon of beautiful music.

The show program, designed to spotlight the delightful harmonies of the all-female choir, features works by Brahms (“Ave Maria”), Haydn (“Magnify the Lord”), Ola Gjeilo (“Gloria”), Vaughan Williams (“Magnificat”), Larsen (“Canticle of Mary”), and Moore (“Always Keep This Close”). DCINY Artistic Director and principal conductor Jonathan Griffith conducts John Rutter’s “Magnificat” with the Distinguished Concerts Orchestra and Distinguished Concerts Singers International.

Lending their gorgeous vocals to the concert are the talented duo of Claire Leyden, Soprano, and Lindsey Anderson, Mezzo-Soprano.
