Overview

The 9/11 Ground Zero Tour, which includes entry to the Museum and Observatory, is an all-access, one-of-a-kind singular New York experience that brings you into the heart of where the tragic events of 9/11 took place. ShowTickets.com has your tickets at great prices to go on this guided walking tour through the former World Trade Center, led by passion-filled New Yorkers who have a personal connection to 9/11. You’ll hear their touching personal stories of profound tragedy and exceptional heroism by a number of everyday citizens.

It all starts at St. Paul’s Chapel, the oldest public building in NYC and one that miraculously survived the falling building and debris from the 9/11 attacks despite it being only one block away. During 9/11’s aftermath, St. Paul’s became a makeshift rescue center and its iron fence was used as a bulletin board where family members posted notices of their missing loved ones. Today, the church serves as a tribute, where people from around the world offer mementos in support of New York City. Next, hear the heroic stories of emergency responders at the Firefighter’s 9/11 Memorial Wall and discover the Engine and Ladder Company 10/10, the fire station at Ground Zero.

Lastly, you’ll enter the 9/11 Memorial, a moving and awe-inspiring play, where visitors are welcomed to pay their respects to those whose lives were lost in the World Trade Center. See the Reflecting Absence Memorial, the largest man-made waterfall inside the 9/11 Memorial, symbolizing the impact of the tragedy. The names of almost 3,000 victims surround the waterfall next to their family, friends and colleagues. Find the new Freedom Towers and World Trade Center rise from the ground. Best of all, you can stay as long as you’d like, taking in all there is to see, remember and honor in this beautiful 8-acre green city oasis. At the end of the tour, your guide will provide you with timed entry tickets to minimize wait times. You’ll be able to enter the Museum first, then the Observatory after.
