Academy Award nominee Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction) makes her Broadway debut in The Parisian Woman, a new play by Oscar and Emmy nominee Beau Willimon (House of Cards) and directed by Tony winner Pam MacKinnon (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?). Thurman stars as Chloe, a charismatic socialite dripping with charm and wit, coming to terms with politics, her past, and the nation’s future. Chloe must use her feminine wiles to persuade her lover to get her husband a high-level government job. Derived from a 19th century French comedy, The Parisian Woman combines razor-sharp wit with political intrigue. The cast also includes Josh Lucas (Sweet Home Alabama), Marton Csokas (The Lord of the Rings), Tony nominee Phillipa Soo (Hamilton), and Tony winner Blair Brown (Copenhagen). The play was originally produced at South Coast Repertory but has gone through significant rewrites since the 2016 election.
